In the women's categories the fighter to beat in the +78kgs is the exceptional Olympic Champion Hua Yuan from China. The -78kgs sees a return to form for Noriko Anno (JPN) but can she overcome the new young Cuban, Yurisel Laborde? Who will emerge victor in the -70kgs: Belgium's Ulla Werbrouck, Britain's Kate Howey or Japan's Masae Ueno? In the -63kgs Gella Vandecaveye (BEL) is on form and looking for another World title.
